Soul Star Counselling
Youth Counselling
Youth Counselling is an invaluable therapeutic service designed to assist the youth to make sense of themselves, their behaviour, interactions with others and their personal development. I can assist your adolescent/ youth to feel much more confident in themselves. Empowering that young person with the necessary skills they will be able to utilise when challenging times arise, as they continue into adulthood. I also provide counselling for parents who need support with managing the family’s well-being, regardless of whether you are single or in a partnership.
There is no age limit for counselling like many other services, because here at Soul Star Counselling, mental health doesn’t discriminate. I have a genuine passion to assist the youth and parents to a much more family loving environment. As a troubled adolescent/ youth myself, I know first-hand what it’s like to experience challenging times such as parent separation, feeling lost in direction and having no positive male role model for guidance, and I would like nothing more, than to assist your young person with my experience, knowledge to allow them to be the best version of themselves and feeling comfortable for being them, and that’s what it is all about, empowering that young person to be more confident in their own eyes.
The environment that I provide is a safe, empathetic, understanding and compassionate place where I allow the young person to be in complete control of what direction they feel they want to follow. I am an extremely intuitive, caring counsellor who constantly redirects the young person, if they are experiencing high emotional topics, allowing them to be much more grounded.
I provide counselling for the following, but I am not limited to:
• School bullying
• FDV Therapy
• Stress & anxiety
• Self-esteem Therapy
• LGBT Identity Therapy
• Family spouse dynamics
• PTSD Therapy
If the young member of the family has even fallen in with the wrong crowd, developed a rebellious streak or just feels unloved, unwanted or having feelings of being unseen, unheard, I would love to assist them in their journey to a better quality and self-loving life.
